DoorDash
- Start the application with the Apply button
- Enter your email, phone, and ZIP code
- Upload your driver's license (front and back)
- Enter Social Security number for the Checkr background check
- Add vehicle info and (in some markets) proof of insurance
- Wait 3–7 days for background clearance
- Once approved, complete the in-app orientation
- Start dashing — usually same-day after approval
One signup, or all of them?
Drivers who run 2–3 apps at once make significantly more than single-app drivers. While you wait on DoorDash background clearance, sign up for Uber Eats and Instacart so they're ready when you are.
